The competition site, a place that extends from the new Cultural and University Center, is one of the most significant public spaces in Zlín – a place of itersection of the monumental axis of Grahura's prospect with the imaginary connecting line between the old and the new centres of the city; a place that is adjacent to the pair of new supraregional buildings. In designing the house our intention was to create a generous and dignified public space. We have proposed to clean the public space, improve conditions for pedestrians and create a place suitable for short-term relaxation. Brick paving in the module of 6,15 x 6,15 meters resembles the typical raster used in many buildings in Zlín.
