The house consists of two independent volumes linked with a multipurpose hall. Our intention was to create pleasant environment that will ensure that its inhabitants will feel as part of their community. We also intended to integrate the elderly into the public life of the village and, on the other hand, let the public life interfere with the life inside the house. Therefore we designed the parterre as a public space containing facilities for both the residents of the house and the people from the neighbourhood.
